Hatamoto Knife Co. has been one of the major knife suppliers in Japan since 1969. In the past, we have been supplying the world market with approximately 750000 knives per year. Now we are proud to introduce our newest knife series.

HATAMOTO

The transformation of the field of activity also testifies to the dynamics of the development of HATAMOTO. In 1976, the company was registered in Wakayama, Japan as Shinko Sheet Metal Works, manufacturing metal components for food processing equipment. Then, at a single enterprise, the company produced containers, trays, molds, drums, bunkers made of stainless steel and titanium. Later, the organizational form, location changed, and as a result, in 2014, the company was renamed HATAMOTO JAPAN.

Currently, under the HATAMOTO brand, in addition to industrial equipment, numerous kitchen utensils, dishes, and traditional souvenirs are produced, which are known far beyond Japan. The direction of accessories can be attributed to accessories for storing knives, their sharpening, cutting boards. Of course, releasing everything for kitchen knives, HATAMOTO could not ignore the knives themselves. But here's the problem: how profitable to enter this segment of the market with such high competition?
